I am thrilled to introduce myself as Dylan Bloomfield, a 19-year-old racing prodigy with 11 years of driving experience under my belt. As of 2024, I am the proud 3rd year driver of the #83v Vertullo Motorsports Sprint car, and I am currently competing in the NARC 410 Championship, where I proudly hold 5th place against some of the best drivers in the country.  We have doubled down and also race with the Sprint Car Challenge Tour Series, where I'm securely positioned at an impressive 3rd place in the overall standings. The pursuit of excellence has fueled my passion for racing since a young age. With a track record that spans a decade, I am no stranger to the relentless commitment it takes to achieve victory. I firmly believe that with the right partnerships, my journey will not only continue, but will thrive in the rest of the 2025 race season and for years to come.

The journey of 83v Racing Inc. began in 1989, during my senior year of high school. My association with JB Enterprise, led by the renowned John Boy, marked the genesis. Post-school hours, I, along with Paul McMahon, dedicated ourselves to crafting race cars and constructing race car components. It was John Boy who extended the offer of a car that I could work off. Late October saw me picking up that car, and though it may have appeared as a "pile of crap" – as aptly put by my wife Debbie – my excitement knew no bounds. With the unwavering support of Keith Morrison, Ken Pierson, Tom Enos, Bill Sellers, Debbie Starr, and my circle of friends.  Our collective efforts bore fruit as we graced Placerville Speedway, earning the esteemed Rookie of the Year accolade and finishing 5th in points. The final year of 410 sprints at Placerville marked a significant chapter, paving the way for a few more years of racing. However, the realization that it was time to pass the reins to someone else gradually took hold. It was then that I entrusted my childhood hero, Randy Tiner, with the task, and the Fall Nationals in Chico witnessed us finishing a remarkable 7th. The thrill of being that competitive with the equipment at hand was unforgettable. In the subsequent year, my sights were set on a rookie, Johnny Rodriguez introduced me to Chuck Gurney Jr. The collaboration with Chuck saw us clinching the Rookie of the Year honor and securing 4th place in points against the best around. A twist of fate had Chuck racing for a friend, prompting me to align with another rookie, Brad Sweet. Our partnership yielded tremendous speed, as Brad secured his inaugural Civil War victory at Placerville and secured 3rd place in the Civil War series points. Billy Wallace took the wheel for the next season, notching up multiple wins and achieving a remarkable feat – making and finishing the Gold Cup Race of Champions. Subsequent years witnessed the recruitment of various talents, with Kyle Larson standing out as a beacon of promise. For three years, we soared to victory across diverse categories, from 360 and 410 wings to wingless and even a venture into asphalt sprint car racing. The evolution continued, as I had the privilege to work with esteemed drivers like Kyle Hirst, Sean Becker, and Chase Majdic, who continued to add to our triumphs in both wing and non-wing races. Now, I stand poised to foster the growth of my next rising star, Dylan Bloomfield. With the backing of sponsors, I am confident in my ability to provide Dylan with the exposure and experience necessary to elevate him to the next echelon in Motorsports.
